CURTIS BATHURST I've always been passionately involved in making art, interface, and cartoons on computers. My introduction to the technology and process came through my father and his friends, who used Macintosh computers in the late '80s and early '90s to produce graphics for their tasks in the space and defense industries.
I was inspired by the art that was becoming popular in games the 16-bit platforms with optical storage. My dad traded some guns with his friend to get me an Amiga 2000, and I used it to make my animations and digital art all through high school and my early college years.
CODY SHIPMAN I currently live in Seattle, Washington, where I'm a Visual Communications Designer at Community Health Plan of Washington. I also do freelance illustration work on the side. During my career I've worked on new business pitches, billboards, bus ads, storyboards, and was this artist for the book 'Happy-Go-Yoga.' In May of 2013 I was the featured artist in a local gallery where I was able to get my work in front of a new audience. I'm also currently enrolled in a Graphic Design program at the Academy of Art University and am projected to graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2015.
